Chantelle Nowicki, Oral Health Therapist

Chantelle NowickiAs Chantelle’s father started Smiles Are Us Park Holme, she enjoys being a part of the family business. From an early age, she began working at the practice during school holidays performing administrative work or assisting her dad. “I loved the idea of pursuing an occupation that encourages relationships and interaction with people.  The Dental field seemed a great way to do this whilst also helping to improve an important part of individual health care.  Watching our patients grow, learn and reach milestones is so exciting to watch and celebrate in.  But the most exciting and rewarding is to help assist patients overcome dental phobia’s and become happy, regular attendees, it always gives me a buzz!”

Education and Professional Development

Chantelle graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. To stay abreast of the latest in the field, she regularly takes courses run by several dental societies including the:

  • ADA
  • Periodontal society
  • DHAA

She also has completed a local anaesthetics course and stainless steel crown course at the University of Melbourne.

Outside the Practice

When she’s not at the practice, Chantelle really enjoys travelling, experiencing new things and meeting new people.  She is also passionate about giving back to those in need. She has served in the dental field and building in Burma, Thailand and Cambodia.  However, family and friends always come first so when she isn’t travelling the globe she enjoys socialising and dining with them.
